Why Turbo Ghost?

This is the nickname that a teacher at my school gave me. He was one of the chaperons at my running camp last year in Mammoth, where a U.S. record-holding runner came to visit my team. The runner, Ryan Hall, is also sponsored by Asics Sportswear. My team had the opportunity to ask questions of this experienced athlete and one of my questions was "what type of shoe do you think is the best for distance track and field?" My team chuckled at what they thought was an absurd question but Ryan Hall said, "the Turbo Ghost is a pretty good shoe. It's nice and light weight".
The teacher began calling me Turbo Ghost every time he saw me and I proceeded to buy the shoes for the next track season (earlier this spring). So now that I'm really tired, putting together my blog this evening, I find that The Turbo Ghost is the best name for my blog because running is what I do a lot and that's a cool runners name.
